Q: What is this site?
A: Valley of the Golden Leaf is an online, wolf-based roleplaying game. Basically, you'll make up a wolf, and then you'll pretend to be that wolf, running around and hunting and mating and fighting over ranks, etc. The fun comes from getting to pretend you're something else; just like you did as a kid!


Q: How do I join?
A: Well, first you need to read the rules; yes, all of them. I know it looks like a lot, but it's not really. Then you'll click on the "join" link over to the left, and it'll take you to a forum. Hit "post new message" and fill out the profile listed in the top. However, you may not play until you've been welcomed, so please don't post until you see a welcome message! This can take anywhere from a few minutes to 24 hours, so please be patient. If you joined and twenty four hours have passed with no welcome message, send me an e-mail at traxits@gmail.com! I might not have seen it.


Q: I need help with...
A: Just post a message in the OOC board! If you're embarrassed or shy, you can always shoot me an e-mail at traxits@gmail.com. I'll be happy to help.


Q: I want to play, but I can't think of a character!
A: No sweat! I keep a couple of premade profiles so that you can just jump right in the game! You can always modify the profiles slightly if you like, and all you have to do is check the Babies' Burrow board to see if there's any up. If you see one that you like, you can just post a reply to the message saying that you'd like to use it! Then just highlight the profile, right-click on it, and hit copy. Go over to the join board, post a new message, right-click in the text box, and paste the profile. If you want to change anything, go right on ahead, and then you just post the message!


Q: Okay, I have a character, but... I need a name!
A: Also not a problem! If all that you need is a name, you're in luck! Just check out our handy name generator that I made just for this site!
